11.Grounding or Poiarization — Precautions
should be taken so that the grounding or
polarization means of an appliance is not
defeated.
12.Power-Cord Protection — Power-supply
cords should be routed so that they are
not likely to be walked on or pinched by
items placed upon or against them, paying
particular attention to cords at plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the appliance.
13.Cleaning — The appliance should be
cleaned only as recommended by the
manufacturer.
14,.Nonuse Periods — The power cord of the
appliance should be unplugged from the
outlet when left unused for a long period of
time.
15.Object and Liquid Entry — Care should be
taken so that objects do not fall and liquids
are not spilled into the enclosure through
openings.
16.Damage Requiring Service — The
appliance should be serviced by qualified
service personnel when:
A. The power-supply cord or the plug has
been damaged; or,
B. Objects have fallen, or liquid has been
spilled into the appliance; or,
C. The appliance has been exposed to
rain; or,
D. The appliance does not appear to
operate normally or exhibits a marked
change in performance; or,
E. The appliance has been dropped, or the
enclosure damaged.
17.Servicing — The user should not attempt
to service the appliance beyond that
described in the operating instruction. All
other servicing should be referred to
qualified service personnel.
11.ErdanschiuB—Es ist darauf zu achten, daB
die Erdungs- und Polarisationsmdglichkeit
des Gerats nicht beeintrachtigt wird.
12.Netzkabel—Das Netzkabel soll so plaziert
werden, daB keine Gefahr der
Beschadigung (durch Trittbelastung oder
Mébel) besteht. Besondere Vorsicht ist an
den Steckern, Verteilern und an der'
AnschluBstelle am Gerat geboten.
13.Reinigung—Das Gerat soll nur nach
Angaben des Herstellers gereinigt werden.
14.Nichtbenutzung—Bei langerer
Nichtbenutzung sollte der Netzstecker des
Gerats aus der Steckdose gezogen
werden.
15.Fremdk6érper und Filussigkeiten—Es ist
darauf zu achten, daB keine Fremdk6rper
oder Flissigkeiten in das Gerat gelangen.
16.Beschadigungen—Das Gerat sollte von
qualifiziertem Service-Personal repariert
werden, wenn-
A. das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker
beschdadigt wurden.
B. Fremdkérper oder Flissigkeiten in das
Gerat eingedrungen sind.
C. das Gerat Regen ausgesetzt war.
D. das Gerat nicht norma! funktioniert oder
auffallende Aoweichungen im Verhalten
festgestellt werden.
€. das Gerat durch Herunterfallen 0.a.
beschadigt wurde.
17.Service—AuBer den in der
Bedienungsanleitung beschriebenen
Handgriffen sollten keineriei Service-
Arbeiten vom Benutzer vorgenommen
werden. Samtliche Wartung und
Reparaturen nur von qualifiziertem
Service-Personal durchfUhren lassen.

13.Nettoyage - L'appareil doit étre nettoye
conformément aux recommandations du
fabricant.
14.Périodes de non-utilisation - Le cable
d'alimentation de l'appareil doit étre
débranché de Ia prise de courant lorsque
l'appareil n'est pas utilisé pendant une
tongue période.
15.tnsertion d'objet ou de liquide - Le plus
grand soin doit étre apporte afin que des
objets ne tombent pas ou que du liquide
ne soit pas versé dans l'appareil par tes
orifices.
16.Dommages qui exigent un recours au
service d'entretien - L'appareil doit étre
réparé par un spécialiste qualifié lorsque:
A. Le cable d'alimentation ou Ja prise a éte
endommagé; ou
B. Des objets sont tombés. ou du liquide a
été renverse dans l'appareil; ou
C. L'appareil a été exposé a la pluie; ou
D. L'appareil ne semble pas fonctionner
normalement ou un changement
notable apparait dans la performance,
ou
E. Ona laissé tomber l'appareil ou
lintérieur a eté endommage.
17.Entretien - L'utilisateur doit se contenter
de reparer l'appareil a la mesure
décrite dans les instructions de
fonctionnement. Toute autre reparation doit
étre confiée a un spécialiste qualifié.
Removal of Transport Fastening Jig
Before connecting the cassette deck, remove
the transport fastening jig on the bottom of the
cassette deck. Be sure to retain the fastening
jig and screw, as these will be needed again
for renewed transport or shipping of the
cassette deck.
Entfernung der Transportsicherung
Entfernen Sie vor Anschiu8 des
Cassettendecks die Transportsicherung auf
der Gerateunterseite.
Bewahren Sie das Sicherungsstiick und die
Befestigungsschraube gut auf, da diese bei
erneutem Transport oder Versand des
Cassettendecks wieder bendtigt werden.
Dépose du dispositif de fixation pour
transport
Avant de procéder au branchement de
l'appareil, déposer le coin de blocage pour
transport vissé sur le panneau inférieur de
l'appareil. Garder le coin de blocage et Ja vis,
qui doivent étre utilisés iors du transport ou de
lexpédition de l'appareil.
