Information for sensors of the series IAS-30...and KAS-40... of the
certification DMT 03 ATEX E048 X for hazardous areas
Description
The sensor with the suffix "-1G" is designed for use in potentially explosive atmospheres caused by flam-
mable gases of appliance group II category 1G. The sensor with the suffix "-1D" is designed for use in
potentially explosive atmospheres caused by combustible dusts of appliance group II category 1D.
The sensors with intrinsically safe output signal (KAS-40-... and IAS-30-...) have to be operated by an
intrinsically safe equipment (e.g. series N-132...).
