3. Assemble and disassemble the joints with gentle
twisting motions in a straight line. Make sure not
to angle the joints as you twist them on or off.
4. Key oil may be applied very sparingly to the
pivot points of the instrument. Use carefully as
excessive lubricant may affect padding.
5. Place the flute in a safe place to avoid damage.
Do not put it on a music stand, a chair, or on any
surface that it can easily roll off and fall.
6. Do not attempt to adjust the flute yourself.
