Record Key
With cassette inserted press and hold down until

automatically locked in the off position if no cas-

Press to rewind tape, press stop key (Z) when the
required position is reached according to position

Press this key to temporarily stop the tape during

General
This recorder incorporates a built-in mains power
supply and is ready to operate as soon as it is
connected to the mains
supply.
Disconnect from
mains by removing mains plug from the rear (dis-
connect from the wall socket first)

The built-in microphone

enables you to make
recordings at any time without the need of acces-
sories. Please unfold the flap inside the

ront
cover

all controls are explained briefly and the
numbers used in the illustrations are identical with
those in the te xt. The range of accessories can
be found on page 2. The type label is on the
un-
derside of the recorder.

This recorder can operate in two ways

The set is designed to operate from a mains
supply of 240 V AC

We recommend that a
13 amp 3-pin plug fitted with a 2 amp fuse
be used

The brown lead should be connected
to
the
live
pin
(marked
"L"
or
"red"
or
"brown") and the blue lead must be connect-
ed to the neutral pin (marked
"N"
or "black"
or "blue"). On no account should either of the
wires be connected to the earth pin (marked
"E" or
"green/
yellow")
.
If other mains plugs
are used
,
ensure that they are protected with
a 2 amp
fuse.
We recommend that the set be disconnected
from the mains when not In use for long
periods.
