MAINTENANCE
1. The flame should be blue and can have orange tips If the flame is yellow it could be an
obstruction in the venturi tube or the jet is not securely Fitted. If the jet gets blocked replace it
do not clean it as this could damage the jet
2. When replacing the jet, do not over tighten the jet
3. If there is a problem with your regulator it must be replaced
4. Food produces flammable fats and juices ensure to keep you SAfire clean at all times
5. When washing your SAfire , using the extra dome nut supplied screw on the extra dome
nut supplied (hand tight) over the Jet this will prevent dirty water getting into your jet and
blocking it
6. When replacing the top plate and ventur tube, insure the tube is correctly seated over the gas
valve (See figure 3)
7. When storing your SAfire for a long period of time coat the whole unit with a fine film of
Vegetable oil do not put oil into or on the jet
