WARNING
Failure to inspect replace faulty hoses or checking for gas leaks before proceeding to light your Roaster,
could result in a fire explosion which could cause serious bodily harm, death or property damage
LIGHTING YOUR ROASTER
1. The SAfire roaster is designed to use LPG (Liquid Propane Gas) with tank sizes ranging from
5 – 12 kg
2. Only use the regulator and hose specified for your country available from your local hardware
store. See regulator and hose list above.
3. Always test for gas leaks with soapy water before use never use an open flame
leaks
4. Do not lean over the roaster when lighting
5. Do not use any solid fuel while using Gas
6. With the SAfire in a level secure position, Using the lifting fork supplied remove the griddle/
frying pan from the roaster to expose the burner head never light the roaster with the griddle
in place
7. If the burner head has been removed for cleaning or any other reason, ensure the burner
tube is correctly seated over the gas valve orifices (See figure 3)
8. The roaster can only be lit by match or hand held lighter
9. Hold the lit match to the burner head then, depress the gas valve knob and turn to the left too
maximum position and the gas will ignite
