Operating instructions
@ To listen to the amplifier's program source after
equalization
Connect
to the
amplifier
provided
with
the tape monitor
switch or the record output selector or to the amplifier with
adaptor jacks (ADAPTOR OUT/IN or PRE OUT/MAIN IN). The
amplifier program source can be heard after being equalized.
1. Turn on the power
switch (POWER).
2. Press the line output switch (LINE OUT) to light the left in-
dicator (V°).
3. Press the SOURCE
button of the input selector (INPUT
SELECTOR). The SOURCE lamp of the input indicator (IN-
PUT) lights.
4. Press the equalizer effect switch (EQ EFFECT) to light the
left indicator (>).
5. When
the amplifier
is provided
with
the record
output
selector, select the program source with the record output
selector and set the input selector to the position to which

and set the tape monitor switch to the position to which
this graphic equalizer is connected.
. Play the program source.
. Adjust the volume in the amplifier.
8. Press the equalizer
switch
(EQ {N/OUT)
to light the in-
dicator (<3).
9. Adjust
the
levels
of each
frequency
by operating
the
equalizer controls (32 Hz---16 kHz).

Hf To listen to tape playback after equalization
1. Turn on the power switch (POWER).
2. Press the line output switch (LINE OUT) to light the left in-
dicator (V).
3. Press the TAPE A or TAPE B button of the input selector
(INPUT
SELECTOR)
according
to the tape deck to be
played back. The TAPE A or TAPE B lamp of the input in-
dicator (INPUT) lights.
4. Press the equalizer effect switch (EQ EFFECT) to light the
left indicator (>).
5. Set the tape monitor switch or input selector switch of the
amplifier to the position which the graphic equalizer is con-
nected.
6. Play back the tape.
7. Adjust the volume in the amplifier.
i To listen to the tape deck playback sound without
equalization
. Turn on the power switch (POWER).
2. Press the fine output switch (LINE OUT) to light the left in-
dicator (7).
3. Press the TAPE A or TAPE B button of the input selector
(INPUT
SELECTOR)
according
to the tape deck to be
played back. The TAPE A or TAPE B lamp of the input in-
dicator (INPUT) lights.
4. Set the tape monitor switch or input selector switch of the
amplifier to the position to which the graphic equalizer is
connected.
5. Press the equalizer switch
(EQ IN/OUT)
to turn the in-
dicator (<2 ) off or press the equalizer effect switch (EQ
EFFECT) to turn the right indicator (<1) on.
. Play back the tape.
7. Adjust the volume in the amplifier.
