Safety Notes

The cordless multitool with the 25 pcs. accessory kit is perfect for sanding corners and edges that are
difficult to reach. This cordless toll is always ready for use and can be operated everywhere. This manual
contains important information on operating and handling the device. Keep these operating instructi-
ons for further reference. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is handed over to a third party! Please
familiarise yourself with the proper usage of the device by reading and following each chapter of this
manual, in the order presented. Keep these operating instructions for further reference.
Please read the safety instructions! These instructions will make it easier for you to handle the device
appropriately and help prevent misunderstandings and possible damage or injury.
Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following safety notes to avoid mal-

functions, damage or physical injury:
• Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label.
• Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to use the unit, unless
they are supervised for their safety by a qualified person or are briefed by the responsible person
how to use the unit.
• The multitool may be used with the included sanding paper pads for dry sanding work only.
• The multitool may be used with the included saw blades for cutting wood and plastics only.
• The battery charger is designed for charging the multitool only. Do not charge other machines with
this charger. Do not charge the battery of the multitool with other charger.
• Protect battery and battery charger from humidity. Do not operate the battery charger outdoors.
• When not in use and before cleaning and servicing, disconnect the battery charger from the power
supply.
• Take special care of the battery. Avoid dropping it onto any hard surface and do not subject it to pres-
sure or any other form of mechanical stress. Keep the battery away from extreme heat and cold.
• Do not open or attempt to repair the battery or the battery charger. If any parts are damage have
them repaired by a qualified technician or contact your customer service.
• Only charge, operate and store the battery at an ambient temperature between 10ºC and 30°C.
• Important Danger! Never short-circuit the battery or expose it to moisture. Do not store it together
with any metal parts which could short-circuit the con-tacts. The battery could overheat, start bur-
ning or explode.
• Keep hands away from cutting area and the saw blade.
• Never hold the work piece being cut in your hands or across your leg. Secure the work piece to a sta-
ble platform. It is important to support the work properly to minimize body exposure, blade bin-
ding, or loss of control.
• Hold the multitool by the insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the tool
may contact hidden wiring. Contact with a "live" wire will also make exposed metal parts of the multi -
tool "live" and shock the operator.
• Always use suitable saw blades with correct arbour holes and sanding paper pads with correct size.
• Never use a damaged or incorrect blade washer or tool retaining bolt. The included blade washer
and tool retaining bolt where specially designed for this multitool, for optimum performance and
safety of operation.
• Do not immerse the multitool, the charger or the battery in liquids.
• Make sure the sanding paper pad is correctly in place before switching on the machine.
• Avoid touching moving parts while working. There is danger of injury!
