Preparation of coffee

•Only use capsules specific for this model
•Place a cup under the dispenser
•Slowly lift the control lever (1) back (until it stops)(Fig. 9 page 23) and introduce a capsule
in the slot provided (Fig. 10 page 23).
• Completely close the lever (1) and press one of the dispenser buttons: small cup (A),
medium cup (B) or large cup (C) according to your taste. (Fig. 11 page 23)
Procedure for making cappuccino
IMPORTANT: EJECT THE CAPSULE BEFORE DISPENSING STEAM
After the steam has been dispensed, the machine carries out a cooling cycle lasting15 seconds;
during this cycle the dispensing lights start flashing and the machine cannot be used. When
the lights are lit steadily, you can resume normal use of the machine.
• Press the steam control knob
During the heating process, the steam control knob flashes. After a few seconds the steam will
come out from the dispenser nozzle. To stop the delivery, press the button again.
• Fill a cup half way with cold milk and dip the steam nozzle into the milk giving the milk a creamy
frothy appearance till it fills the cup (Fig. 13)
WARNING:
- After a few seconds the steam will come out from the dispenser nozzle
and will stop automatically after 40 seconds.
N.B. Wait until the steam nozzle is cold before removing the outer part,
then wash it in lukewarm water to clean out any milk residues.
• Place the cup with frothy milk on the machine grid and make coffee, using the standard coffee-
making procedure.
• To dispense warm water, place a cup under the nozzle (Fig. 12) and press button
