OPERATION
•
Taking measurements
• Please put the scale on a hard and flat surface.
• Place bowl (if used) on the scale before turning on the unit.
Press and release [TARE] button to turn on the unit.
•
• Wait until LCD shows all information.
• Load weighing object on to start weighing, LCD will show the weight reading.
• If the weighing object is water or milk, press [UNIT] button to choose volume and view the volume
of weighing object.
Changing the weighing units
To change the units of measurement from g/ml to pounds/units, press the [UNIT] button after turning

on the scale.
Another press of the [UNIT] button will change the units again.

Tare
When the [TARE] button is pressed, the display shows "_ _ _" or "0g". "_ _ _" means that the scale
is unstable, wait for a while. When the display shows "0g" and the "T" symbol in the upper left corner,
it means that the function is active. The maximum weight is reduced by the total weight of the weighed
products. When [TARE] is touched again, the display will show the total weight of the products.
Another touch of [TARE] will reset the display to zero.
Automatic switch-off
Auto shut-off occurs if display shows ' ' 0 0 ' ' or shows the same weight reading for 2 minutes.

Weight overload message
The maximum permissible weight (10 kg) must not be exceeded.
This can cause damage to the device.
Low battery indicator
Indicates that the batteries need to be replaced.
