1.0 In general
Prior to start working with this machine read, the operating instructions and safety precautions carefully. All
labels on the machine must always be observed and maintained in a legible condition. Installation, operation,
maintenance and repairs of the machine should be performed only by authorized and qualified personnel. From
the operator is always expected to apply safe working practices and to follow all applicable local safety
regulations and requirements.
The operator is responsible for ensuring that the machine is maintained to provide safe working conditions at all
times and that the as standard installed safety devices are not bypassed or overridden. These safety instructions
are general and do apply to different types of machines and equipment. It is therefore possible that some of the
statements made here are applicable to the respective machine.
Besides the usual safety information applicable to all machine tools and their components the following safety
information are of particular importance. Keep the operating instructions always available to operators and make
sure that the operation and any maintenance of the machine are carried out according to all applicable
instructions. Failure to follow these instructions and/ or unauthorized changes to the machinery and its
components supplied by FLOTT will lead to exclusion of warranty claims. The manufacturer assumes no

the machine.
2.0 Transport
ATTENTION! Always check delivery for completeness and damage! The carrier (forwarder or railway) is to be
informed immediately in case of transport damages. (s. yellow leaflet)
3.0 Setting up the machine
The drill should be set up on a solid base and aligned using a spirit level. If the machine is to be bolted to the
base, it should be ensured that the base plate does not warp in the process. It is to recommend to use of vibration
damping elements.
4.0 Operation
During operation of the machine, make sure that
- When starting the machine the first time, please check the rotation direction according to the arrow indicator
that indicates the right direction.
- the operator won't get into direct contact with the running steel brush
- the waste material is collected, that neither people nor machines are at risk
- that all safety devices of the machine - such as covers, etc. are properly installed
- that only suitable materials are deburred
- while operation the wires of the machine's brush may be partially torn out, the wearing of protective goggles is
always required. To prevent retraction of the ma terial, the distance between the material layer and the brush
should be about 2 mm. By moving the brush out of the machine the brush can be re-adjusted to a proper
distance if the machine's brush is worn by use.
5.0 Deburring
Of a significant impact on the deburring process is the set height position of the workpiece support.
For deburring the

For deburring
please set the workpiece support to "mid position"
For the deburring of tubes all sides must be trimmed separately. Round tubes must be rotated during the
deburring process for best results. To increase the lifespan of the brush, the workpiece should be suppressed
only slightly. If too much pressure is used the machine's brush will expand and it will lose it' s deburring ability
due to the widening of the space between the wires.
