Attention!
Regularly check the correct setting and mounting height of your tail light. The tail light must be
mounted in an area of 250 to 1200mm above the roadway. It must be mounted and adjusted so
that the reference axis is parallel to the vehicle's median longitudinal plane and parallel to the
road surface (see pic.).
10. Connection to the electrical system of the bike
The sliding shoe (1) for connection to the electrical system is located on the back of the rear light
(5). Pull out the sliding shoe (5) until the two openings are congruent. Push the non-insulated
cable ends through the sliding shoe (5) according to the polarity into the contacts and slide the
sliding shoe (5) back again. As a result, the free cable ends are clamped.
black cable = current-carrying
black-white cable = ground
11.Operating
The rear light is switched on and off via the electr. system.
Brake light function explanation
The rear light is equipped with a brake light function. When the rear light is switched on,
it is initialized. The red LEDs of the rear light flashes during initialization and then lights up
continuously.
No settings are required and no „teach-in" is necessary. Due to the negative acceleration that
occurs during each braking process, an electronic switch activates the brake light function for
approx. 3 seconds. During this time all red LEDs shine brighter.
12. Cleaning
Clean the device only with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Never completely immerse the device
under water. Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaners. This causes damage to the device.
