Place of installation / Power connection:
• Do not set up appliance in direct sunlight, near to heating and similar
• The floor must be level and horizontal at the location.
Correct uneven sections using adjustable feet.
• Ensure there is adequate ventilation and air circulation
• Do not use an extension lead to connect the refrigerator to other appliances –
risk of over-heating!
• The place of installation must have a temperature range from 10 °C to 35 °C.
The relative humidity may not exceed 75%.
Power connection:
Type of current (AC) and voltage at the point of installation must be the same as the particulars
on the type plate. The type plate is inside the refrigerator on the left-hand side. The socket must
be fused at 10 amperes or higher, be situated away from the rear side of the appliance and be
easily accessible. The appliance must only be connected via a properly earthed earthing contact
socket.
Recirculated air cooling:
Recirculated air cooling involves the swirling of cooled air with a fan. This process enables the
cold air to be rapidly and evenly spread inside. Temperature stratification practically does not
occur. The temperature is roughly equal throughout the interior.
Safety and warning information:
• To avoid any injuries or material damage, two people should be entrusted with unpacking
and setting up the refrigerator.
• If any damage is noticed on the refrigerator, contact the supplier immediately –
before connecting the appliance.
• To ensure failsafe operation, only install and connect the refrigerator in accordance with
the instructions in the manual.
• If a fault occurs, disconnect the refrigerator from the mains, pull out the mains plug or trip/
remove the fuse. To disconnect the refrigerator from the mains, pull the mains plug
itself and not the connecting cable.
• Interventions and repairs to the refrigerator must be carried out by the competent Custo-
mer Services department. Failure to do so creates considerable risks for the user. The same
applies to the replacement of the power connection line.
• Do not work with naked flames or ignition sources inside the appliance.
• Ensure that the refrigeration circuit is not damaged when transporting or cleaning the refrige-
rator. Keep sources of ignition away from any damaged points and ventilate the area well.
• Do not use base, drawers, doors etc. for stepping on or for propping up.
• This refrigerator is not intended for use by people (including children) with physical, sensory
or mental impairments or for those who are inexperienced in its use or who lack the necessary
knowledge – unless they have been instructed in using the refrigerator by someone who is
responsible for their safety or who supervises them in the initial stages. Children should be
supervised at all times to ensure they do not play with the refrigerator.
• Avoid constant skin contact with cold surfaces or cooled/frozen products. This can otherwise
lead to pain, numbness and frost-bite. Provide for protection if work involves lengthy periods
of skin contact e.g. by wearing gloves.
