14 Slightly li� your baby's bo� om and with the right hand move the lower cloth edge
upwardly in the direc� on of the baby's navel.
15 Now loosen the simple knot underneath the baby's bo� om.
While doing so, absolutely hold onto the rear cloth strip with the le� hand!

Take the right cloth strip by the upper cloth edge, and � ghten the en� re cloth gradually

in three to fi ve phases.
Guide both cloth ends in the direc� on of the baby, and fasten these underneath the baby's

bo� om with a double knot.
Star� ng with the lower cloth strip, pull the cloth strips downward over the right shoulder

to the middle of the upper arm.
Done!

To take the cloth off , open the knot underneath the baby's bo� om and if possible, make sure
that your baby is not moved in its posi� on. Carefully move the cloth strip running around your
baby upwards over its head, and remove it downward. If your baby has fallen asleep,
bend your upper body forward, lay your baby down and cover it up if necessary.
Your baby will normally con� nue to sleep. Only now should you take off the en� re cloth.
