Operating the device
Press the power switch, the meter will turn on and all symbols will be visible on the display for
approx. 1 second. Next, the meter will automatically measure the air velocity and temperature.
The measurement result will be shown on the display and will change according to the air ve-
locity and temperature in the vicinity of the meter. The top row of the display shows the velocity
value and the bottom row – the temperature.
Another pressing of the power switch will turn on the display backlight. The display backlight will
be turned off after pressing the power switch again.
Pressing and holding the power switch for approx. 2 seconds will result in turning off the meter.
To reduce battery consumption, the meter will turn off automatically after approx. 10 minutes
from the last pressing of the button.
Pressing the MAX/AVG button again will cause switching between HOLD, MAX, and AVG func-
tions. The next press of this button will result in returning to the instantaneous value measure-
ment mode.
The HOLD function consists in saving the measurement value displayed at the moment on the
display. In this mode, the HOLD mark will also be visible on the display. The MAX function con-
sists in saving the maximum measurement value with the MAX mark on the display. The AVG
function consists in saving the average measurement value with the AVG mark on the display.
Press the UNIT button again to change the air velocity unit between those listed in the technical
data table. The display will show the velocity unit mark. Press and hold the UNIT button to
change the temperature unit between the degrees Celsius ( C mark) and the degrees Fahren-

heit ( F mark). The display will show the temperature unit mark.

Regardless of the selected air velocity unit, the meter always shows on the display the degree
of the Beaufort scale described by the "bft" mark on the display.
If the temperature of the air fl owing through the measuring sensor drops below 0 C, the display

will show the "WINDCHILL" indicator indicating that the wind cooling factor has been taken into
account in the temperature measurement.
The meter can store up to 999 air velocity measurements. The save mode of the measurement
results is available by pressing and holding the MAX/AVG button. The display will show the
REC indicator and the numbers in two rows. The top row indicates how many results the meter
has already stored, and the bottom row indicates how many results the meter can still save.
Pressing the UNIT button will cause the meter to start saving the results of the air velocity
measurement. The REC indicator will start to fl ash. Measurement results are saved every 10
seconds. The saving will be completed after pressing the UNIT button again.
The user can read the measurement results – to do this, press and hold the MAX/AVG button
in the measurement result save mode. The number in the top row is the measurement result
and the number of the stored measurement is shown in the bottom row. The next measurement
results can be read by pressing the UNIT button.
It is possible to delete the measurement results – to do this press and hold the UNIT button
in the measurement result save mode. The reading "CLr" will appear in the top row and the
number of available values to be saved will change to 999.
The meter has a battery charge indicator. If the battery symbol on the display is full, the battery
is fully charged. Gradual discharging of the battery is indicated by the reduction of the number
of icons in the battery symbol. If the battery symbol is empty, the batteries must be replaced
with a new set.
Maintenance and storage
The product does not require any special maintenance. Clean the housing with a soft and
slightly damp cloth. Then wipe the product dry or leave it to dry. Clean the measuring sensor
with a compressed air stream with a pressure of not more than 3 bar. Store the product in the
conditions specifi ed in the table. Do not store the product together with other tools, e.g., in a
toolbox. Protect the product from moisture, dust, and direct sunlight.
