Setting up the shade
Please note!
– A suitable sun shade base must
be used to secure the sun shade.
For SL-AZ 220 Push up:
1. Place the sun shade base in the
desired location.
2. If you have not yet done so, screw
the shade tip onto the thread (see
figure A).
3. Release the locking mechanism 1
of the bottom pole 2 (see figure B).
4. Let the shade pole slide at least
10 cm into the bottom pole 2.
Tighten the locking mechanism
1 by turning it clockwise (see fig-
ure C).
5. Place the shade mast in the sun
shade base and fix it in place; see
the user manual for the sun shade
base.
For all other models:
1. Place the sun shade base in the
desired location.
2. If you have not yet done so, screw
the shade tip onto the thread (see
figure A).
3. Let the sun shade slide into the
bottom pole. Press the locking
button 3 for this.
4. Turn the sun shade until the but-
ton 3 locks into place in the open-
ing 4 (see figure D).
5. Place the shade mast in the sun
shade base and fix it in place; see
the user manual for the sun shade
base.
Opening the shade
Please note!
– Before opening the sun shade,
make sure that it is adequately
supported; that is, that a base with
proper weight is used (see "Tech-
nical data").
For SL-AZ 220 Push up:
1. Remove the tie strap and, if appli-
cable, the protective sleeve (see
figure E).
2. Slightly open the sun shade by
hand (see figure E).
3. Push the sleeve 5 up (see figure F
and G).
For all other models:
1. Remove the tie strap and, if appli-
cable, the protective sleeve (see
figure E).
2. Slightly open the sun shade by
hand (see figure E).
3. Turn the crank clockwise until the
sun shade is opened as far as you
like (see figure H).
Tilting the shade
For SL-AZ 220 Push up
You can tilt the sun shade to both
sides.
• Open the sun shade completely.
The joint 6 must be free (see fig-
ure I).
• Push the button 7 down (see fig-
ure J).
• Tilt the sun shade to the desired
side by hand (see figure J).
For all other models:
• To tilt the sun shade to the side,
turn the crank on the completely
open shade further.
