The connected load must be reduced accordingly to
avoid the risk of fire!
In intensely heated-up rooms, the maximum connected
load must be reduced according to the diagram shown in
figure 3 (see Technical Data).
At an ambient temperature of 50 °C, the allowed power is
reduced to 57 % = 239 W. At 60 °C, this value is 28% =
117 W.
The Busch dimmer 6513U-xxx is equipped with an
electronic short-circuit and overload protection. This
eliminates the need for the fuse usually integrated in
dimmers. A novel electronic radio interference suppression
replaces the RFI reactor usual in the past. This is why this
dimmer is a "low-noise" type.
