WARNING: Carry out the installation in a "workmanlike" manner, strictly following the installation instructions and
using suitable tools. Always consult your local building department for code requirements that must be respected
Unpack each element before starting to assemble the staircase. Position the elements on an ample surface and
check their quantity (TAB. 1: A = Code, B = Quantity).
Preliminary assembly
1. Assemble elements C71 in the treads (L29 or L30) (determine the position of the openings with the template
provided, calculate equidistant spaces for the position of the intermediate openings with articles C57 and B02
(fig. 2). Warning: carefully consider the direction of rotation of the staircase before drilling.
2. Carefully measure the height from floor to floor to determine the number of plastic spacers (D45) required and
prepare above its spacer (D47) (TAB. 2).
3. Assemble elements C63, C65, C66 on the balusters C03 (fig. 3) (fig. 1); assemble elements D43, C54, C83 on
the baluster C81.(fig. 1, fig.3).
4. Assemble the base G03, B17 and B46 (fig. 1).
Assembly
5. Determine the centre of the opening on the floor and position the base (G03+B17+B46) (fig. 4).
6. Drill using a Ø 14 mm point and secure the base (G03+B17+B46) to the floor with elements B13 (fig. 1).
7. Tighten the tube (G02) on the base (G03+B17+B46) (fig. 1).
8. Insert the base cover (D46) in the tube (G02) (fig. 5).
9. Establish what type of 1st tread will be used: triangular (L29) or angular (L30). Insert the following in order:
plastic spacers (D45), the spacer (D47), plastic spacers (D45), the first tread (L29 or L30), plastic spacers
(D45), the spacer (D47), plastic spacers (D45) and then again a tread (L29 or 30) and proceed in the same
manner. Arrange the treads in the position they would assume once you have finished assembling the staircase,
propping the corner treads to avoid having their weight rest on the central column before you have finished
assembling the staircase (fig. 5).
10. Once you have reached the end of the tube (G02), tighten element B47, tighten the following tube (G02) and
continue to assemble the staircase (fig. 5).
11. Once you have reached the end of the next column (G02), tighten element B46 and element G01 (tighten
element G01 taking into account the fact that it must be 15 cm (6") taller than the height of the staircase (fig.6).
Continue to work on the treads using element D01 inserted into the tread (L29 o L30).
12. Insert the landing last (E02). Position the landing (E02) on the treads (L29 or L30) arrival side (fig. 8).
13. Cut the landing (E02), if necessary, taking into account the size of the opening in the floor (fig. 4).
14. Insert elements B05, B04 and secure element B03 (fig. 1).
Fixing the landing
15. Move element F12 next to the floor. Determine the position, maintaining a distance of approximately 15 cm
from the outer edge of the floor (E02), drill using a Ø 14 mm point and secure permanently using elements B13
(fig. 1).
16. Secure elements F12 to the landing (E02) using elements C58 (drill the landing (E02) with a Ø 5 mm point).
17. Position elements B95.
Assembling the lateral connecting spacers
18. For the sides of the staircase which do not provide for railing, insert sections of column C81 which have been
cut to size. Close the sides of the column with articles C74 (fig.11).
Assembling the supplementary railing
19. Starting from the landing (E02) insert the balusters (C67) connecting the treads (L29 or L30).
Position the balusters (C03) with element C63 with the opening towards the top (fig. 8). Only tighten element
B02 from the lower tread (fig. 2).
Warning: for the sides of the staircase which do not provide for railing, insert sections of column C03 which
have been cut to size. Close the sides of the column with articles B82 (fig. 11).
20. Check the verticality of all of the balusters (C03) positioned. Take care during this operation because it is very
