2. Setting up the easel
Loosen the clamps on the three legs if necessary.
After loosening the clamps, the legs and the middle
column can be pulled out to the desired length.
Once the clamps have been re-tightened, the legs
should stand securely.

Note that the easel only reaches its fi nal stablity after mounting the canvas holder,

inserting the center strut and fi nally tightening all the screws. In the current state, the

easel is not yet completely assembled torsionally stiff . Please keep this in mind when
moving the easel!

4. Final position
The fi nal position is maintained by tightening the knurled screws on the back of the
screw slot. When doing so, ensure that the picture support is straight. The picture sup-
port can be easily adjusted to any desired height at any time by loosening the screws.
Note that the leg angle of the easel may have to be adjusted according to the desired
height of the picture support. This may mean temporarily opening the locks. You can
adjust the angle of the workshop easel by adjustment of the rear tripod leg.
After adjusting the height of the canvas hol-
der, tighten the knurled screws to secure the
middle
canvas holder. By additionally screwing the
column
corresponding screws with a screwdriver over
the front of the same screws again increase
the stability of the easel!

5. Using the middle strut and fi nal assembly
of the easel
To realize the maximum stability it is recommended that you
correctly place the picture support, insert the middle strut/centre
column and adjust the screws of the picture support and the easel
shoulder.
6. Using the clamp
The spring-loaded clamp system on the top of the middle strut
securely fi xes the canvas in place and prevents it slipping or
falling off .
Operating instructions and hints:
The walimex pro workshop easel has a tray that can pulled out in the middle of the picture
holder. You can place paints, for example, (incl. fi xing straps) or other utensils in it. This
easel also has a brush and cloth holder on the left and right under the picture support.
If necessary, a weight can be attached to the fi xing straps. This gives the easel extra
stability.
Please note that in order to achieve the intended maximum stability of the easel, all
relevant instructions in the manual are observed. Retightening ALL screws may be
necessary. Furthermore, the insertion of a canvas with appropriate use of the upper
canvas holding clamp increases the stability of the easel, especially during the painting.
