When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions
should always be observed.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds

onds at a time as this may cause damage to your hair.
• Keep the appliance away from non-heat-resistant surfaces
and never cover the appliance with anything (e.g. towel or
cloth) when it' s hot and heating.
• Always unplug the appliance after use.
• Wait until the appliance has cooled down before storing it.
• Keep the heating plates clean and free of dust, dirt, styling spray
and gel. Never use the appliance in combination with styling
mousse, spray and gel, etc.
• Always return the appliance to a service center for examina-
tion or repair. Do not attempt to repair the appliance by your-
self, otherwise your guarantee will become invalid.
• The plates have a ceramic coating. This coating will wear out
in the course of time. When it happens, the appliance will still
function normally.
• When using this appliance you may notice a characteristic smell.
This is caused by the ions that are generated and it' s not harmful
to the human body.
