9 Safety features

9.1 Accidental start prevention

If the ON/OFF switch is in the position ON, the compressor will not start if the rechargeable battery is removed
and then replaced again.
Switch the power OFF and then back ON to resume use.

9.2 Pressure switch

The pressure switch automatically:
starts the motor when the air tank pressure drops below the factory set "cut-in" pressure.
stops the motor when the air tank pressure reaches the factory set "cut-out" pressure.

9.3 Safety valve

If the pressure switch does not shut off the air compressor at the "cut-out" pressure setting, the safety valve will protect
against high pressure by engaging at the a factory set pressure (which is slightly higher than the pressure switch
"cut-out" setting).
