and close the plates. Take not to touch the very hot plates.
• Hold the straightener in place until the hair is fully heated-note this
will almost be instant. When holding the straightener always ensure
fingertips are placed away from the hot plates.
• Once the hair is heated, holding the hair taut, carefully slide the plates
along the selected section of hair, in one smooth movement all the way
down to the ends.
• Keep the strands of hair smooth whilst you work to avoid ridges.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
Operating instructions for professional curls
• Firmly grip a section of hair between the plates, close to the roots
• Keeping tension firm gently rotate the styler whilst pulling through the
length of the hair section to the tips using the curl guides to grip and
shape the curl as you style.
• Make sure to keep rotating the styler.
• Remove styler and holding the hair length,, allow the curl to spring into shape.
• Repeat using different size sections of hair for a natural soft curl look.
*PULSE HEAT
The method used by your straightener to achieve rapid salon temperatures
is "Pulse Heat". This can be seen in operation by the action of the high
intensity blue indicator light visible through the switch. The light comes
on to show it's working. The light remains static for a few seconds then
flashes rapidly, showing that "Pulse Heat" is working. When maximum
temperature is reached the light will slow to a steady beat. Pulse Heat
works on high and low heat settings.
Temperature key lock
Press minus "-" or "+" button and hold it for 2 seconds to put into the key
lock mode, the plus "+" and minus "-" key will be locked and the LDC will
appeared a lock symbol
Then press minus "-" or "+" button and hold it for 2 seconds to release.
The plus "+" and minus "-" key will be unlocked and the lock symbol will
be disappeared on the LCD
This function will be not influenced the on/ off slide switch
Note:
If the Straightener is being used on the high heat setting and you switch
to the low heat setting, the light will go out, until the plate temperature
reduces to the low plate temperature. It will then work as normal.
