INFLATION OPTION
If electrical power is not available, a conventional foot, manual, or battery-operated air
pump can be used by connecting it to the manual inflation port located inside the line cord
compartment. Do not use high-pressure air compressors. See Fig (15). Follow these steps:
1. Open line cord compartment cover and locate the
manual inflation port.
2. Make sure the control dial of the internal electric
pump is still in the off mark (
3. Remove the cap from the manual inflation port and
insert the nozzle of the pump into the port. Inflate
the air bed to desired firmness.
NOTE: Do not overinflate. The firmness should be
approximately the same as the level achieved with the internal electric pump.
4. Remove nozzle from manual inflation port and close the cap and the line cord cover.
PROBLEM

SOLUTION
• Make sure the output of the external

Charger or USB Port is rated 5V
or more. See "INFLATION" section.
• Switch off and disconnect the line cord
from the power adapter/supply. Let the
pump rest for 1 minute before restarting.
• Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable
to the portable USB charger.
• Make sure the output of the external
power adapter, such as USB Wall
Charger, Portable USB Charger, 12V Car
Charger or USB Port is rated 5V
or more. See "INFLATION" section.
• Push the cap firmly into the manual
inflation port.
• Turn the control dial to the off mark (
