15. Checklist and release form

Check the product every working day. Only use the product if all the
items in the checklist below can be answered by yes.
 Is the correct product used?
 Are the assembly and use instructions available at the place of
use?
 Is the support surface level and does it have a suffi cient
load-bearing capacity?
 Is the product standing vertically (check with a spirit level)?
 Do the direct surroundings allow safe use of the product where
the product stands or is erected?
 Is it ensured that the surrounding factors (e.g. power lines)
exclude the risk of dangerous situations occurring?
 Is there suffi cient free space for safe erection and safe use of the
product?
 Were only undamaged, defect-free, correct and unmodifi ed
components used?
 Was the product erected according to these assembly and
use instructions and in compliance with the confi guration and
ballasting table?

 Is the product easy to access from the inside?
 Are the castors correctly fi tted, adjusted, aligned and are the
brakes applied?
 Are the frame parts correctly assembled and secured?
 Are the braces and diagonals installed and secured at the correct
points?
 Are the stabilisers correctly installed and are they suitable for the
permitted platform height?
 Are the platforms installed at the correct heights and do they
contact the frame properly?
 Are all anti-lifting devices (e.g. on the platforms) secured?
 Are all locking catches correctly fi tted to the product?
 Was the tower confi guration checked regularly (see release
form)?
