Repairs

Repairs and any dismantling of the device beyond that described in this document may only be carried out
by Gebr. Becker or a specialist company authorised by it.

Decommissioning

Before decommissioning, the device has to be disconnected from the con-
sumer and run for 3 minutes to remove any residual oxygen.
Switch off the vacuum pump and disconnect from the mains power supply.
Before separating the vacuum and exhaust connections, make sure that the connected lines have been
vented to ambient pressure.
The openings for the vacuum and exhaust connections must be closed by plugs or adhesive tape.

Disposal

The local national recycling laws and regulations must be observed when disposing of the vacuum pump
or individual parts of the pump.
