- Inspect all screws, rivets and other parts regularly to ensure they are secure
and safe and replace any parts that are in poor condition. It is very important to
thoroughly clean and dry the pushchair after use in winter, by the sea, in the
woods or in the rain. Sea salt can cause the metal parts to corrode. After use
in these conditions, wipe down with clean water and dry thoroughly.
- When used on the beach, wash away any sand from the wheels and axles every
day to prevent the axles from becoming worn and the wheels from rusting and
becoming stuck. Wash the wheels and axles with clean water, dry and
relubricate.
- Regularly check that the pushchair's locking device is working properly.
- If you find any parts on the pushchair that are damaged, stop using the
pushchair and contact the seller immediately.
- Do not expose the pushchair to strong sunlight for extended periods of time.
Even exposure to ultraviolet light during normal use may cause the fabric to
fade.
- Be careful not to tear the fabric when loading or transporting the pushchair
in a vehicle.
- Low viscosity oils or lubricants may be used on the pushchair's mechanical
components.
- Petroleum jelly is a good lubricant for use on the front axle.
- Sea air, saltwater and sand can cause corrosion. Clean and dry rivets, screws
and wheels regularly to prevent rust.
- Wash the fabrics in lukewarm or cool water using a mild detergent.
- DO NOT WASH THE FABRICS IN THE WASHING MACHINE to avoid tearing
and splitting the seams.
- The parking device should be in place when placing and removing children.
- Any load attached to the handle, backrest and/or sides of the pushchair will
affect the stability of the pushchair.
- For car seats used in conjunction with a chassis, this vehicle does not replace
a cot or a bed. Should your child need to sleep, it should be placed in a suitable
pram body, cot or bed.
