6. Charging the battery

 The battery is built into the appliance. To charge the battery, connect the plug
on the mains adapter to the power connection on the appliance and the mains
plug into the wall socket.
 Use only the mains adapter cable supplied with the appliance.
While the appliance is connected to the mains and the battery is being charged, the
charging indicator shows the charging status in %.
Once the appliance is fully charged, the charging indicator shows 100% and the shav-
er stops drawing power. The appliance can remain safely connected to the mains. Dis-
connect from the mains, however, to prevent any unnecessary power consumption.
6.1. Charging the battery before fi rst use
To obtain the optimal battery charge, the battery should be charged for two hours
before first use.
6.2. Charging the battery
The battery recharge time is 90 minutes. Always charge the battery once the shav-
ing performance starts to become noticeably weaker. The charging indicator will
show a charging status of under 20% before the shaver switches off automatically.
