To use the available options, press the BACKbutton. To view the filtering options, highlight the Filter tab and
press OK. To change the layout, highlight Timeline and press OK.
Event options
Use the directional buttons to highlight the event and press OK to open the Options menu.
The following options are available.
Select Channel: Use this option to switch to the selected channel and watch it. The programme guide will
close.
More information: View detailed information about the selected event. Use the up and down arrow buttons
to scroll through the text.
Event timer / Delete event timer: Select Set timer on Event options and press OK. You can set timers for
future events. To cancel an already set timer, highlight the event and press OK. Then select Delete timer per
event. The timer will be cancelled.
Notes:
• If the timer is active on the current channel, you cannot switch to another channel.
• It is not possible to set a timer for two or more programmes in the same time interval.

Teletext services

Press the Text button to enter. Press again to activate Mix mode, which allows you to view the Teletext page
and the TV broadcast simultaneously. To exit, press again. If available, sections of the teletext pages will be
colour coded and can be selected by pressing the coloured buttons. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Digital teletext

To view the information from the digital teletext, press the Text button. Control it with the coloured buttons,
arrow keys and OKbutton. Options may vary depending on the content of the digital teletext. Follow the
instructions displayed on the digital teletext screen. When you press the Text button, the TV returns to
watching TV.
Software update
Your TV can automatically search for and update firmware using an antenna signal or via the internet.
Search for software updates via the user interface
From the main menu, select Settings, then scroll to Software Update and press OK. Then select Search for
Updates and press OK to check for a new software update. Software Update is also available in Settings >
System > Other settings.
If a new update is found, it will start downloading. When the download is complete, a warning will appear,
press OK to complete the software update process and restart the TV.
Search and update mode 3 AM
The TV will always search for new updates at 3:00 if you have enabled Auto Scan and if the TV is connected
to an antenna signal or the Internet. If new software has been found and successfully downloaded, it will be
installed the next time you switch on.
Note: Do not disconnect the power cord if the indicator light flashes during reboot. If the TV does not turn
on after the update, unplug the TV for 2 minutes and plug it in again. All updates are done automatically. If a
manual search is performed and no software is found, then it is the current version.

Troubleshooting and tips

TV won't turn on
Make sure the power cord is properly connected to the power outlet. Press the main on/off button on the TV.
Bad image
• Make sure you have tuned the TV correctly.
• A poor picture can be caused by a weak signal. Please check the antenna connection.
