Attach profile seal of PWI air/ water heat exchanger (Installation)
WARNING
Danger of accidents due to incorrectly installed seals
Leaky seals can allow moisture to penetrate and cause short-circuits.
➢ Install the seal so that it provides a tight seal to the switch cabinet.
➢ Always inspect seals during cleaning and maintenance.

Requirements

Cut-out for PWI air/water heat exchanger is created, see figure
Attaching cut-out for PWI air/water heat exchangers.
- Air/water heat exchanger has been de-energized.
Required tools and material
- Profile seal (1)
- Installation tool
- Accessory kit: Threaded bolts, screws, nuts, washers
Procedure
▪ Attach profile seal (1) to the sheet metal edge of the cut-out (2). Fit the seal with the slotted ends (4) down.
▪ Screw the two threaded bolts provided (accessory pack) into the upper fastening points (3) of the air/ water heat
exchanger. Suspend the unit on the switch cabinet with the threaded bolts installed from outside.
▪ Screw unit tightly to the inside of the switch cabinet (3). Use the supplied screws, nuts and washers (accessory
kit) to fasten the unit. Firmly tighten the screw fasteners so that the profile seal (1) is pressed together to a
thickness of 2 mm.

The profile seal is installed on the air/ water heat exchanger.
