Setting the CAM : Using USB Mode
Using PC Cam
You can use this the CAM as a PC camera for video chatting, video
conference and other PC camera applications.
1.
Connect the CAM to the PC with the
USB cable.
2.
Move [Mode Selector] down to turn on
the CAM.

USB mode screen appears automatically.
Move the [ ▲ /▼ ] switch to select

<PC-Cam> and press the [OK] button.
Notes
✤ This function requires the specified USB Streaming Driver and Software to
be installed. Refer to page 112 for further details.
✤ The CAM can be used as a PC Camera for programs such as Windows
Messenger. The use of the PC Cam varies depending on the Software.
Refer to the documentation of the respective software products.
✤ PC-Cam function is operated as 'Full Speed' in the capacity of Windows
ME or over.

Camcorder als PC-Kamera verwenden
Sie können den Camcorder als PC-Kamera für Videochats,
Videokonferenzen und andere PC-Kamera-Anwendungen einsetzen.
1.
Verbinden Sie den Camcorder über ein
USB-Kabel mit dem Computer.
2.
Drücken Sie zum Einschalten des
Camcorders den [Moduswahlschalter]
nach unten.

Automatisch wird der Bildschirm USB-Modus
eingeblendet.
Wählen Sie mit der Taste [ ▲ /▼ ] <PC-

Cam> (PC-Kamera), und drücken Sie
die Taste [OK].
Hinweise
✤ Diese Funktion erfordert die Installation des Spezialtreibers und der
Spezialsoftware für USB-Streaming. Weitere Informationen dazu finden Sie
auf Seite 112.
✤ Der Camcorder kann für Programme wie Windows Messenger als PC-
Kamera verwendet werden. Die Verwendung als PC-Kamera hängt von der
jeweiligen Software ab. Lesen Sie dazu die Dokumentation der
verwendeten Software.
✤ Unter Windows ME oder neueren Windows-Versionen wird die PC-Kamera
mit 'Full Speed' betrieben.
