• Never use a cloth to clean the water reservoir. Fluff might stay behind. Simply
rinse the reservoir occassionally with water.
DESCALING
Descale your coffee maker regularly. Upon normal use (about 2 full jugs a day), we
advise you to use the following guidelines:
• Hardness of the water up to 18°dh: 2 to 3 times a year.
• Hardness of the water above 18°dh: 4 to 5 times a year
The water company in your region is usually able to pass you information on the
hardness of your water.
• To descale the device, you need to run the device twice with 1 liter water and 10
spoons of vinegar.
• After descaling, you need to run the device twice with clear, cold water to flush
out the taste of vinegar and the descaling left-overs.
• Wash the jug, the lid and the filter holder.
