the measurement result in lux. For example, the measurement result is 34.5, but the X100 mark is
shown, which means that the measurement result is 3450 lux. If the multiplier indicator is not shown,
it means that the result on the display does not require multiplication.
Pressing the MODE button again will switch between the light intensity measurement modes. The
available modes are the measurement of the diff erence in light intensity indicated by the Δ mark on
the display, displaying the maximum measurement value indicated by the MAX mark on the display,
and displaying the minimum measurement value indicated by the MIN mark on the display. Another
pressing of the MODE button will cause returning to the instantaneous value measurement mode.
When operating in minimum and maximum value displaying mode, the display shows the minimum or
maximum measurement value until the meter measures a lower or higher value, respectively.
Pressing the HOLD/UNIT button will save the measurement value displayed at the moment on the
display. In this mode, the HOLD/UNIT mark will also be visible on the display. Press the HOLD/UNIT
button again to return to the continuous measurement – the HOLD/UNIT mark will disappear from
the screen.
Pressing and holding the HOLD/UNIT button will allow for changing the measurement unit. The unit
marks will start fl ashing on the display. The subsequent pressing of the HOLD/UNIT button will result
in changing the units in the following order: LX/
C; LX/
F; FC/
C; FC/
F. LX stands for lux and FC

stands for candelas. After selecting the set of measurement units, press and hold the HOLD/UNIT
button until the units stop fl ashing on the display. This will confi rm the measurement unit selection.
Pressing and holding the MODE button will allow for saving, reading or deleting the light intensity
measurement results. If the REC mark appears on the display, it indicates the mode of saving the
measurement results. Pressing the HOLD/UNIT button will result in entering the automatic measure-
ment saving mode. The REC mark will start fl ashing on the display. The results of the instantaneous
measurement will appear in the upper row of the display and the number of saved records will be
shown in the lower row. The meter can save up to 1000 records. The results are saved every 10
seconds.
It is also possible to manually save the measurement results by pressing the power switch. The
indication visible in the upper row of the display will be saved and the lower row will show the record
number under which the measurement result was saved. A maximum of 67 records can be saved in
the manual saving mode.
Press the MODE button to switch to the read mode of the saved measurement results. The display
will show the fl ashing READ mark. Pressing the HOLD/UNIT button again will result in displaying
the results of the saved subsequent records from the automatic save. Pressing the power switch will
result in displaying the results stored in subsequent records from the manual save.
If you press the MODE button again, the device will enter into the measurement result deletion mode.
The DEL indicator will be shown on the display. Pressing the HOLD/UNIT button will cause deleting of
all measurement results saved in automatic mode. The display will show "----" indication in the top row.
All measurement results saved manually will be deleted after pressing the power switch. The display
will show "---" indication in the bottom row. Another pressing of the MODE button will cause returning
to the measurement result save mode, and pressing and holding the MODE button will cause return-
ing to the instantaneous value measurement mode.
The meter has a battery charge indicator. If the battery symbol on the display is full, the battery is
fully charged. Gradual discharging of the battery is indicated by the reduction of the number of icons
in the battery symbol. If the battery symbol is empty, the batteries must be replaced with a new set.
Maintenance and storage
The product does not require any special maintenance. Clean the housing and the light sensor
with a soft and slightly damp cloth. Then wipe the product dry or leave it to dry. Store the product
in the conditions specifi ed in the table. Do not store the product together with other tools, e.g.,
in a toolbox. Protect the product from moisture, dust, and direct sunlight. During storage cover
the light sensor.
