Brood Temperature, Humidity, Auto-Turn Mechanism

At the beginning, start with a breeding temperature of 37.5°C. In the last three
days before hatching, the temperature can be decreased to 1°C below the initial
temperature.
The guide value for humidity should be adjusted for the beginning to 60%. The
correct humidity is essential in order to avoid drying out the eggs. Therefore it is
also important that the humidity value is checked every 12 hours. If humidity is too
low, add 1 or 2 teaspoons water into the water tubs.

Using

1. After a satisfactory test operation, make sure the breeding machine is clean.
Fill water into the tubs and remove the iron net. The iron net is not needed at
the beginning of breeding.
2. Adjust the turning pipes of the frame (5)
according to the size of the eggs. The eggs
must be placed horizontally on two rolls. Now
place the frame with the turning pipes on both
holders inside the breeding machine. The
frame must fit exactly on both holders.
3. Close the lid.
4. Adjust the temperature to 37.5°C with the
function buttons + or –.
5. Adjust the humidity to 50 % with the functions buttons + or – . When the
humidity value will decrease, the breeding machine will sound an alarm.
6. Switch on the auto-turn mechanism.
7. Before inserting the hatching eggs into the machine, make sure the desired
temperature and humidity are displayed. Make a note in the calendar in order
to know the first day of breeding.
8. Place the eggs with the round ends resp. with the pointed ends together; this
will prevent the eggs from bumping to each other. If not done so far, mark the
eggs with a pencil (X on one side and O on the other side), in order to notice
turning position.
If the breeding machine is not completely filled with eggs and there is enough
space, distribute the eggs evenly on the available surface. Do not place the
eggs sidewise or only in the middle. By doing this you will ensure sufficient air
circulation.
