Filling internal coolant cylinder

Coolant from gas supplier is normally stored
and transported in coolant cylinders with
connection fittings . Depending on the design
of the connection fittings, the following may
need to be taken into account when connec-
ting the "external" coolant cylinder:

Coolant cylinder with shut off valve:
Always turn coolant cylinder upside down
when filling the ACS 400/450 so that the
liquid coolant is transferred into the inter-
nal coolant cylinder .

Coolant cylinders with two shut off valves:

Always place the coolant cylinder with
the connection fittings facing upward
when filling the ACS 400/450 .

Connect ACS 400/450 to L (liquid) con-
nection on external coolant cylinder .

The original internal coolant cylinder may not
be replaced . The coolant must always be top-
ped up using an external coolant cylinder .

To ensure optimum operation of the
ACS 400/450, the coolant quantities listed
below for the internal coolant cylinder must
be adhered to:

ACS 400: 3-6 .5 kg

ACS 450: 5-11 .5 kg
