Lists the available wireless networks
within the range of the device. Click the
"Update" button to refresh the list.
Enter the name of the wireless network
SSID
here.
This selection is only available for an ad
hoc network. A fixed channel number
Channel
between 1 and 13 must be set for the con-
nection.
Select the maximum speed for data trans-
mission.
Basic speed
It is recommend to select "Auto" so that
the data transmission rate can be adjusted
to the current signal strength and quality.
The network authentication must match
the settings for the network to which the
connection is to be made. The following is
available:
none, open system, shared key system,
WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK.
Select the encryption type for your net-
work from the list of available encryption
methods. The following can be selected:
none, WEP, TKIP and AES.
Click the wireless network in the
"Connect" column that you wish to
establish connection to. The SSID
of the selected network is entered
into the SSID field automatically.
