14. Emergency release

The release procedure should only be used in an emergency, for example
a power failure. It is essential that you ensure that the controller has no
power supply and has been secured to prevent it being switched on again.
After the release procedure the door/gate can be opened or closed manu-
ally.
Swing the drive into the open position and secure it to prevent it falling
down.
a) Releasing the door drive (Fig. 9)
Remove the split pin (9) from the bolt (7) and then remove the bolt (7). The
drive will now be released from the door/gate.
b) Engaging the door drive (Fig. 9)
Secure the drive by following the instructions described in 14a in reverse.
Secure the bolt (7) with the split pin (9).

15. Ordering spare parts

Please provide the following information on all orders for spare parts:
Model/type of machine
Article number of the machine
ID number of the machine
Number of the required spare part

16. Packaging

The machine is supplied in packaging to prevent its being damaged in tran-
sit. This packaging is raw material and can therefore be reused or can be
returned to the raw material system.
17. Maintenance
Note: Never clean the drive or controller with a water jet, pressure cleaner
or steam jet. Do not use alkalis or acids.
Every 4 weeks
Check the obstruction cut-out and repeat the teach-in process if neces-
sary
Check that the fastening screws are secure and tighten them if neces-
sary
Check the function of the drive, rectify any problems and call the Cus-
tomer Service Department if necessary
Check that the cover on the controller housing is correctly positioned
Remove all dirt and deposits from housing parts, particularly the
threaded screw.
Check the lubrication of the threaded screw and lubricate it if neces-
sary (use the supplied "Rail Grease").
