Installing the Dust Extracting Adaptor

During sanding the tool produces a large amount of dust. Therefore connecting
the dust extracting adaptor is very important and helpful. An industrial vacuum
dust extractor or a vacuum cleaner for domestic use can be connected to the tool.
First install the dust extracting
adaptor when using the multi-
function tool for sanding (see
figures 2 and 3) and tighten
the dust extracting adaptor
with the socket screw (12).
Ensure that
cleaner to be
recommended for use with the
multi-function tool. Generally
most wet and dry vacuum cleaners for domestic use are suitable.
Dust extraction should always be used when sanding hazardous materials such
as hard woods and MDF panels.

Installing the Sanding Pad Holder

1. Attach the sanding pad holder (6) to the tool
holder. Fasten the sanding pad holder with the
socket screw (12) on the tool holder (figure 4).
2. Hand-tight the socket screw with the included
Allen key of the size 5.5 mm.
3. Attach the fitting (7) to the dust extracting
adaptor. Connect the suction hose of your
vacuum cleaner to the fitting (figure 5).
