Setting Up

Remove the packaging and visually inspect the compressor. Carefully
dispose of unneeded packaging materials.
Set the compressor up on an even surface in a well ventilated area
protected from the elements.

Electric Connections

Make sure the power mains voltage in your area conforms to the operating
voltage stated on the type label. The compressor must be earthed properly
during operation to protect you from electric stroke. Therefore make sure
the power socket to which the compressor is connected is earthed
properly.

Operation

The compressor is equipped with a 1.2 litre compressed air tank. After
turning on the compressor starts up and fills the tank to a pressure of up to
8 bar. After the preset or the maximum pressure has been reached, the
motor turns off. At the right hand side of the compressor is a quick
connector to attach an air pressure hose.
The quick connector is designed to automatically close off when the hose
is disconnected.
The ON/OFF switch (5) is located at the back of the unit.
The operation of the compressor is automatically controlled by a pressure
controller which stops the compressor when the pressure in the air tank
reaches the preset level. When the pressure falls below a minimum value,
the pressure controller starts the compressor again. The pressure
difference between the preset and the minimum pressure is approximately
2 bar. If, e.g. 8 bar are preset, the compressor is started up when the
pressure falls below 6 bar.
With the manual pressure controller (2) you can preset the pressure which
is build up in the air pressure tank. If the pressure controller is set to 6 bar,
the compressor stops when this value is reached and turns on again at
approximately 4 bar.
