Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Make sure the power mains voltage available in your area corresponds to
the operating voltage stated on the type label.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed
to use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
Do not leave the unit unsupervised while it is connected to power mains.
The unit does not belong in the hands of children. Be especially careful
with the unit is used while children are close by.
Keep your hands and other body parts away from moving components of
the compressor.
Never aim the jet of compressed air at yourself or other persons.
Do not use the compressor close to water or in wet environments.
Disconnect the compressor from the power supply and allow all
compressed air to escape from the pressure tank, before undertaking any
work regarding repair, inspection, maintenance, cleaning, or replacement
of parts.
Do not move the compressor while it is connected to the power mains.
While the compressor is not in use, store it in a dry place and protect it
from the elements. Keep it out of the reach of children.
Store the compressor out of reach of children.
Keep your working area tidy and if necessary remove tools not needed for
the job. Make sure the working area is well ventilated.
Do not use the compressor close to flammable liquids or gases. The
compressor may generate sparks during use. Therefore do not use the
compressor in areas, in which paint, petrol, chemicals, glue or other
combustible or explosive substances are present.
Do not pull on the cable to pull the plug from the socket. Keep the power
cable away from hot surfaces, oil or sharp edges. Do not step on the
power cable and do not pinch it.
Check the power cable for damage regularly. If it is damaged, have it
repaired or replaced by a professional. Make sure the outside of the
compressor is free from detectable damage. If necessary, turn to the
Westfalia customer support.
