Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing

For best performance, always keep the saw blade and the reciprocating saw in
good order.
 Before carrying out any work on the reciprocating saw, remove the battery
from the battery slot of the saw.
 To clean the blade clamp, slightly pat the footplate of the reciprocating saw on
an even surface. To remove bigger cutting residue, clean the blade clamp with
a paintbrush or with compressed air.
 Clean the housing with a cloth, a paintbrush or a brush to remove dust and
wood splinters. Always keep the ventilation slots clean and free from
obstructions. Do not allow swarf to enter the ventilation slots.
 Never use benzene or similar aggressive chemicals or abrasives for cleaning,
in order not to damage the reciprocating saw.
 Do not let liquids of any kind enter the reciprocating saw.
 Check that all screws and parts of the reciprocating saw are firmly secured in
regular intervals.
 Store the reciprocating saw and the accessory indoors in a dry place that is
protected from dust, dirt and extreme tempertaures.
 Store the reciprocating saw out of reach of children and persons in need of
supervision.
