Inserting and Removing the Battery
1. Insert the rechargeable battery (10) into battery
slot of the reciprocating saw. Do not apply force
when inserting the battery. Iserting can be
achieveed easily and without resistance. The
battery must be inserted completely until the
battery releasing button (9) audibly locks into
place.
2. To remove the battery, press the battery releasing
button (9) and remove the battery from the battery
slot.

Inserting/replacing the Saw Blade

Use only suitable saw blades and do not use blunt, damaged or bent saw blades.
Before inserting or replacing the saw blade, remove the battery from the
reciprocating saw to prevent an unintentional start of the machine. Wear safety
gloves when inserting the saw blade to prevent cuts.
1. Use the provided Allen key (11) to loosen the saw blade locking screw (4) for
approx. 4 turns. Do not remove the screw. Loosen the screw sufficient for the
blade clamp to move back away from the flat shaft leaving a gap of the saw
blade thickness between the end of the locating pin and the inside of the blade
of the blade clamp (figure A).
2. Insert the saw blade (1) with the cutting side down into the saw blade holder.
Make sure the small hole at the mounting side of the saw blade matches the
locating pin of the saw blade holder. Never insert the saw blade with the
cutting side up.
