3. Make sure the contact terminals of the car battery are clean.
Remove any corrosion, dirt or foreign matter from battery terminals.
Please Note: the contact surface of battery terminals to the battery and the
device clamps to the terminals must be clean, strong and secure prior to
pressing the JUMP START button.
