General Advice for Operating the Device:
•
In extremely cold environments keep the device indoors as cold weather
can quickly affect the charge capacity of the internal battery.
•
Ideally top up the charge overnight (or in emergency situations) charge
30 minutes prior to the jump attempts in order to make sure the battery is
fully charged. In cases where the ambient temperature is less than -10°C
it is recommended to connect the battery for 3 minutes before jump start
attempt.
•
On some occasions in extremely cold weather, the vehicle's engine may
not start on the first crank attempt, due to the device's internal battery
being cold. Further attempts (not more than 10 times) may be more
successful as the inside battery of the device warms up and delivers full
power.
•
In order to maintain peak performance of the device and preserve the
internal battery recharge every 3 months.
Failing to recharge the battery at least every 6 months may significantly
shorten the lifespan of the internal battery as Lithium Polymer batteries
stored in a discharged state deteriorate very quickly.
