Due to the oxidation of the material, the reaction of the metal
detector on coins that have been lost or buried recently varies to
the response to coins that already lie for some time in the soil.

Some nails, screws, bolts and other metal objects, such as bottle
caps oxidise in the soil and produce a so called halo effect. This
halo effect is caused by the blending of natural elements with the
oxidation of various metals in the soil. This effect makes it difficult
to locate desired objects precisely.

Cleaning and Storing


Clean the device only with a soft dry cloth. If the unit is very dirty,
you may clean it with a slightly moist cloth.
 Do not use detergents or chemicals as this may damage the
surface.

Store the unit indoors in dry place that is protected from dust and
dirt.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries
do not belong in household garbage.
