Bleed the Floor Jack
Air bubbles may enter into the hydraulic system and interfere the
function. In this case it would be either difficult to lift up the floor jack
or the floor jack will abruptly lift up or down.
1. Use the pumping handle to turn the release valve (7) one turn
counter clockwise and open it.
2. Pump the pumping handle (1) eight full strokes.
3. Close the release valve (7) completely.
4. Pump the handle until the arm reaches maximum height and
continue to pump several times to remove trapped air in the ram.
5. Carefully and slowly pinch oil filling plug (A) to release the
trapped air.
6. Close the filling plug.
7. Open the release valve (7) and slowly press the saddle (5)
completely down.
8. Close the release valve (7).
After this the floor jack should work easily and correctly. If not,
repeat the bleed process.
Lifting the Vehicle
1. If the release valve (7) is opened, close it by inserting the
pumping handle on the valve and turning clockwise as far as it
will go.
2. Make sure the vehicle cannot move.
3. Place the floor jack centrally under the vehicle lifting point. For
further information, read the vehicle handbook.
4. Insert the pumping handle (1) into the handle socket (2).
5. Pump up the floor jack by using the pumping handle and pump
until the saddle (5) is secured in the central position of the
vehicle lifting point. Lift the vehicle up to the desired working
height.
