Before first Use
Remove all parts of the set out of the packaging and check for
damage in transit.
Dispose of packaging material or store it out of reach of children.
Plastic bags may become a deadly toy for children.
The remote control is powered by a 12 V battery of the type A23.
Before first use, install the battery into the battery compartment of
the remote, as described as follows.
Inserting/Replacing the Battery
1. Slide the battery compartment cover (13) from the housing of the
remote control and open the battery compartment.
2. Insert a new battery of the type A23 into the battery compart-
ment. Pay attention to the proper polarity of the batteries. The
polarity is printed inside the battery compartment.
3. Put the battery compartment cover back on the housing and
close the battery compartment.
Replace the battery when the radio controlled sockets (the re-
ceivers) no longer react on the signals of the remote control.
Allocating the Radio Controlled Sockets
1. Plug the radio controlled socket into a 230 V~ wall socket.
2. Switch the radio controlled socket on and off with the desired
button pair on the remote control within 30 seconds. After
30 seconds the allocation phase is over and if you have not fin-
ished allocating the radio controlled socket must be reset to the
allocation mode by unplugging and plugging back in.
3. Repeat these steps with all radio controlled sockets. Wait for at
least 30 Seconds before allocating a new socket to allow the
previous socket to leave the allocation mode.
