3.3 Additional refrigerant charge calculation
Additional charge of refrigerant R410A (FSN(1) Series)
Although refrigerant has been charged into this unit, it is required that additional refrigerant be charged according to piping length.
A. Determine an additional refrigerant quantity according to the following procedure, and charge it into the system.
B. Record the additional refrigerant quantity to facilitate service activities thereafter.
Example: 5 units (expansion valve kit for wall type) + 4 units (standard indoor unit)

Liquid piping is between outdoor unit and expansion valve kit. Refrigerant charge is 0.05 kg/m for 9.53 piping between expansion
valve kit and I.U.
See example for model RAS-22FSN1, and fill in the table.
1.2. Additional refrigerant charge calculation for Indoor Unit (W
Additional refrigerant charge (1 kg/unit) of less than 8 HP indoor units are not needed.
