2.2.
OPERATION
2.2.1.
Switching on the instrument
After the function generator or has been connected to the mains in accordance with section 2.1.3. and 2.1.4.,
jt may be switched on by depressing mains switch POWER.
The pilot lamp will light, indicating that the instrument is ready for use.
The white spot inside the POWER switch indicates mechanically that the instrument is switched on.
After switching on, the instrument is ready for immediate use, and will meet specifications after a warming-up
period of 30 minutes and at constant position.

Selecting the waveform and setting the duty cycle
adjustment on the basic signals is shown in Fig. 4.
