DESCRIPTION AND USE OF CMT400-1 AND CMT400-2
Description of CMT400-1 and CMT400-2 chuck adaptor
The chuck adaptor consists in a duralumin centring bush and a 9mm diameter chuck shaft with
a Ø8mm hole for fitting the drill bits. The shank is fitted in the centring bush, where the bearings
provide maximum precision. For holding in place, there is a spring and a stop ring locked with a
screw. Drilling depth is set by the stop ring; for drilling depth range see (Fig. 2 and 8).
The CMT400-1 drilling bush is equipped with a gauge with a 5mm scale (Fig. 2).
