Intended use

The appliance is intended
– for the preparation of cold to
room-temperature fruit and
vegetable juices (smoothies)
by chopping fruit and vegeta-
bles.
– for chopping or crushing ice
cubes.
The appliance is exclusively de-
signed for private household use.
Only use the device in dry indoor
areas, but never in cupboards.
If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufac-
turer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid
a hazard.
Use the appliance only as de-
scribed in this user manual. Any
other use is deemed improper and
may result in damage to property
or even personal injury. The appli-
ance is not a children's toy.
The manufacturer or retailer ac-
cepts no liability for damage
caused by improper or incorrect
use.
Do not use the appliance in wet
rooms or outdoors.
Safety
The blender jar is not suitable for
storing ingredients.
The appliance is not suitable for
– mixing dough or pureeing po-
tatoes.
– beating egg whites.
– mixing hot or boiling ingredi-
ents
– chopping or crushing hard
food (nuts, coffee beans, etc.).
It is not permissible to use the
appliance for commercial purpos-
es or for use in areas similar to
households, such as staff kitchens
in offices and shops, guest rooms
in hotels, motels, bed and break-
fasts, and stately homes.
